LeagueLoch's Removable Media Booter Version 1.2 !!!! - Released 11/18/2024.

WARNING - NEVER BOOT FROM ANY CD/USB, IF YOUR UNSURE OF ITS ORIGIN !!!!

Windows 10, has been deliberately restricted, so that it can not boot directly from any Removable Media Devices such as USB's.

This has been done, mainly for your protection and to stop any spreading of viruses.

LeagueLoch's Removable Booter, will allow you to boot from any Removable Drive (USB), as long as an autorun.inf, or you_custom_autorun.inf file is in the USB's root directory.

Please note that LeagueLoch's Removable Media Booter will always run an existing autorun.inf file !!!!

The addition of the LeagueLoch_Removable_Drive.ini is only required if you are using a custom_autorun.inf file !!!!

You can now configure, the LeagueLoch's Removable Media Booter, to boot from any autorun filename you choose !!!!

Just by editing the text file, LeagueLoch_Removable_Drive.ini, and then specifying the custom_autorun.inf filename !!!!

For example:-

My_USB.inf

xyz.inf

Abc.txt

123456789

To use a custom_autorun.inf file, you must copy both the custom_autorun.inf, and LeagueLoch_Removable_Drive.ini files to the USB's root directory !!!!

Recapp:- Copy both custom_autoRun.inf and LeagueLoch_Removable_Drive.ini to the USB's root directory !!!!

The autorun.inf file, must start with the following to work:-

[autorun]

shellexecute="your.exe"

Your_custom_autorun.inf, can start as follows:-

This is your title !!!!

shellexecute="your.exe"

Please note, that the Microsofts Windows Defender, will automatically delete the autorun.inf files from your USB stick and wont boot. You must either disable the Windows defender, and use a better virus checker.

Such as TOTALAV !!!!)

OR - You can Rename the autorun.inf to use your own autorun.inf as explained above !!!!
